Geri’s Bio For Senior Leaders

Geri has been coaching people for over 15 years and has a background in Senior Recruitment and Talent. Additionally, she is an accredited Psychotherapist and business owner. In addition to her passion for Psychology and Psychotherapy, Geri has always been interested in the field of human potential. She uses an integrative and psychoeducational approach which includes Person Centred Approach, ACT Therapy, and IFS (Internal Family Systems).

She holds a master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Keele University, a graduate certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a postgraduate diploma in Positive Psychology.

Geri is passionate about exploring and researching the field of authenticity, having completed a self-Inquiry as part of the research for her Msc Geri recognises the importance of cultivating authenticity and the impact it can have on our mental health and wellbeing.

After helping hundreds of people, Geri realised that once people truly began to understand and accept themselves at a deeper level, they started to gain clarity about their true selves. This new awareness and acceptance lead them to greater happiness and improved relationships.

Witnessing transformations in her clients and reflecting on her background in business, Geri recognised that the fusion of her skills in coaching, therapy, and research could significantly benefit senior leaders.

This is when she created person centred transformational coaching to help Leaders in business to connect with themselves in their own way. Following the principles of the person-centred approach this coaching encourages self-efficacy and is bespoke to each Individual. PCTC helps leaders to develop personal toolkits and strategies that will help them to improve relationships, build resilience, increase productivity, decrease negativity, plan effectively and know how to help themselves in challenging times.

This is a unique and reflective approach where Leaders are introduced to therapy room communication and engagement styles to help build emotional intelligence skills. Using person-centred therapy as the foundation, it also includes empathy, congruence, positive self-regard, self-doubt, and value-based goals.

Geri also uses her research experience and knowledge in the field of authenticity to help leaders gain a better understanding of themselves. She also teaches various ways to help Leaders manage self esteem and feelings of frustration. She offers a supportive and non-judgmental environment to allow her clients a rich and immersive space as they explore themselves on a deeper level through a therapeutic lens.

Geri is registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists. She undertakes regular training and monthly supervision. Geri is also a volunteer counsellor at a national health and social care charity. That helps people with challenges including drugs and alcohol, housing, justice, health and wellbeing.
