Session details

Whatever your reason for exploring therapy, I provide a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential space for you to delve into issues and experiences that are complex, important or challenging.

Sessions are 50/60 minutes and can take place face-to-face, telephone or online. I can see clients in a tranquil setting based in Rudyard in the Staffordshire moorlands.

As a Registered Member of BACP, I adhere to their code of ethics to maintain a high standard of therapeutic practice.

What type of therapy is best for you?

You’ve decided to seek out a counsellor or therapist—now what? With so many different types of therapy available, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start. But don’t worry! I’m here to simplify things for you. This quiz and accompanying blog will guide you through your options, helping you understand what kind of support might be the best fit for your needs.

Current Fees 

Counselling/ Therapy sessions fees (taking on new counselling clients from January 2025)

15-minute introductory consultation online/telephone = Free

50-60 minute ongoing counselling session = £60

50-minute Student Counsellors therapy appointment = £40
Invoice/receipts available on request – all prices are GBP.

I ask that payment be and by Bank Transfer before each appointment and/or cash for In-person therapy.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

Flexibility for Changes:

You may reschedule or cancel your appointments without any charge if you do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows:

If you fail to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance, or if you miss your appointment without notifying us, the payment will be forfeited. Exceptions may be made for sudden and severe personal emergencies, subject to my discretion. In the event of last-minute cancellations, I will make efforts to accommodate an alternative session that week, either online or via telephone. If we cannot find a mutually agreeable time within the same week, the full fee will still apply.

Alternatives for Unavoidable Absences:

Should circumstances prevent you from attending in-person (e.g., due to travel or severe weather conditions), I am available to conduct the session online. However, outright cancellation for such reasons may still incur charges, unless rescheduled in a timely manner.

Provider Cancellations:

If I need to cancel a session for any reason, I will inform you as soon as possible via phone or email. In such cases, no fees will be charged, and any payments made in advance will be applied to your next scheduled session.
